At this multi-story parking structure, Dual Secure® panels fill large openings between structural columns and floors. The 3″ depth of the powdercoated welded wire panels adds strength and allows for greater spans to be achieved with fewer bracket connections. Climbing plant growth is not a requirement at this installation, therefore the selection of Dual Secure over the similar Living Screen® system is appropriate.

Over one mile of TWG’s wire rail infill was installed along the pedestrian and bicycling path that skirts the Willamette River’s eastern edge, including the overlooking Steel Bridge Riverwalk. The Eastbank Esplanade connects with downtown Portland and features multiple examples of local artwork, scenic vistas and natural habitat in its three-mile loop. The project received the Design Award of Merit from ASLA in 2004.

Sturdy woven wire panels cover the outdoor recreation yard at this correctional facility. As specified, a heavier wire gauge was provided and set within a steel framework. Besides meeting the project’s rigid requirements for safety and security, the finished installation provides good sunshading for the courtyard below.

Woven wire covers a massive galvanized steel framework and creates a dramatic courtyard entry; screen shapes are cut and formed to a custom fit. This two-storied arch provides a sturdy structure for climbing vines and mimics the graceful form of the Fremont Bridge in the distance. Elsewhere around the building, perforated panels provide security at garage entry doors and allow for ventilation.

A residential fence in Chicago, Illinois, that uses both slotted perforated plate and welded wire to create a surround of Living Screen®. In the years since the installation, ivy growth has matured and intertwined inside the screen’s framework. The post-mounted design incorporates a hinged gate and custom mail slot. TWG provided both the screens and the posts.
