As part of the remodel of a 1963-era building, sun shading is a key component to the new “green” initiatives embarked upon by the building’s owner. TWG provided framed panels of welded wire that are installed as horizontal shades above each exterior window. The panels, coupled with high-performance windows, work to reduce heat gain and energy costs while creating shadow lines for a dynamic exterior on a light-colored brick and glass facade.
